Welcome to the Mad Cows' blog!

The Mad Cows is the EUI's female five-a-side soccer team. We play just for fun and absolute beginners are warmly welcomed. Playing with the Mad Cows is a nice way to do some sports and meet new people to share some beers with. The members of the Mad Cows come from all environments and all nationalities: EUI researchers from all the departments, partners, members of the staff and people from outside the EUI world.

Mad Cows 2.0


   We would like to start this post with an enormous thank you very muuuuuuu(ch) to all the people who enjoy reading the Mad Cows' blog and visit it day after day to know about the adventures of our lovely team.

   In August we announced that we would like to start using again the blog and since then we have published 14 posts about the life of the Mad Cows on and outside the pitch. Just in September we received nearly 400 visits; October has so far been even better, because the day before having dinner with the Squadra Fantastica we received an amazing 74 visits! Looking for anyone in particular, guys?

   However, it seems that the blog is not really user-friendly in regard to leave comments, mainly for those who are using smartphones. To solve this issue, we decided to become a bit more 2.0 and we created a group on Facebook. We hope it will allow us to have a more usable tool for communicating and gossiping. Those who do not have Facebook, please do not worry: the blog will of course keep on being updated!

   Girls, feel free to invite all the people with Mad Cows soul to join the Facebook group. And, of course, leave a lot of comments :P
