On Wednesday evening I was splitted in too much tasks.. I even nearly played with the Olimpia, ever in 4 players as the last match. But the radio to listen the semi-final of coppa Italia and to write the notes for this article were enough for me, and thanks God,at least from the stand, the match was not too exciting for divert me from the duty. On the pitch maybe the facts were sligtly different..
Anyway, in the first 5' must be noted some good duet Sara - Mi Ah, one time each they shot but always the goalie denies the goal. At the 8th the Mucche obtain a free kick on the right side, Mi Ah put through the ball to Costanza who hits the frail barrier before to put it out and gain the consequent corner. Mi Ah does this task again for her match-partner, Sara free in the "area" and easy to get the net! 1-0 for the Mucche at 9th.
To play against 4 has some pros and cons. One of the pros is that the spaces are wider and the Mucche can express better their choral game, especially if galvanized for the score.
At 11th a counter attack starts from left with Mi Ah, go on Sara at right side and is finalized bi Sandra from left with a beautiful kick deflected with difficulty over the crossbar by the goal-keeper.
The cons are the frequent drops of attention: immediately after the shot of Sandra, the Olimpia takes a crossbar in, maybe, their first kick on the target and, few moments after, a dangerous breakaway, followed, by chance, by a non dangeros kick, widely out. It is the 16th, and ours trio, even in a static action does good things: Mi Ah starts to shoot the goal, but hits an opponent, then Sara does the same, and finally Sandra succeed! 2-0 for the Mucche. Lisa go in, but needs time for warm herself up, at the 19th fail a sensational occasion alone, against the goalie. One minute later, at least the same Lisa give a perfect assist for Mi Ah who scores the 3-0 few istants before the end of the first half.
3-0, 5 against 4, everything from my stand should be yet written but.. There are many "but" to see on the second half. Elena starts, as I can remember, her real work at the 2nd minute with her first of the match, and really beautyful save, with the punch, alone against the opponent..
Please, no one misunderstand me when I wrote "with the punch", even if, I guess, some mucca would use it sometimes during the match.. The four of the Olimpia were seeking always the contact, pulling, leaning and kicking -one of them defending always the ball with the back, even running backwards like a lobster! One other acting like a dancer, with dangerous, for the mucche's ankles, "spaccate" (splits). The new Heather Parisi was even dressed with leggings and headband!- The strain reached their peak during the second half when two of the "less quiet" of the mucche even protested many times, loudly, to the referee about the athletic behavior of the Olimpia. Now, if protests can not suit any effect about at 22 and half, with a middle aged guy that would rather watch the match of the Fiorentina and asked me, whenever is possible, about the result, no one should complain too much, even thuog it is very annoying. The lack of concentration, the fret, and some, maybe, unbalanced substitution, rose the equilibrium's spot near the mucche's goal and at 12th comes the first goal of the Olimpia, after a corner given to a free player, alone in front an unguilty Elena. The second goal comes some minute after, and this should be remarkable to tell: after a crazy run on the right side, the "dancer" to prevent one nearing mucca, shot "in spaccata", targeting -I can not know how exactly!- the opposite corner of the crossbar, Elena was again unguilty and the kick oddly precise. So at the 16th of the second half, 3-2, a fatigued opponent, but keyed up to reach the equalize, that was the situation.
Tanks God Sara went back on the pitch to remake the duo with Mi Ah, but also as solo done good things: at the 21st stole the ball after a corner for the Olimpia, rode the whole pitch alone to kick outside a bit. The important was not not score but the action was remarkable and the duty to lighten the opponent's pressure accomplished. Again an outside kick of Sara, this time after an assist of Costanza at the 22nd, and finally Elena saves the match on the last insidious shoot of the Olimpia, just a while before the end whistle. Not the best match from the stand, and as I heard after, also on the pitch, but the victory is finally for the mucche!
