Welcome to the Mad Cows' blog!

The Mad Cows is the EUI's female five-a-side soccer team. We play just for fun and absolute beginners are warmly welcomed. Playing with the Mad Cows is a nice way to do some sports and meet new people to share some beers with. The members of the Mad Cows come from all environments and all nationalities: EUI researchers from all the departments, partners, members of the staff and people from outside the EUI world.

8-2: ABBIAMO VINTO!!!

...a wonderful start of the (real) tournament!

Mad Cows- Barcollo ma non mollo (?, anyway Florentine 15-year-olds) 8-2!!

The match started with 3 quick goals by our capocannoniere Signe. Shortly after entering the pitch, Irene scored! (and it was certainly not "a beginner's luck!), followed by Amy, 2 more by Signe and at the very last second, after many missed opportunities (as usual...) even Mi Ah scored a very nice one (meaning that she doesn't have to spend the rest of the week in the library (cf. previous post))! Even BatValeria - acting as a striker in the second half - came close to scoring!! Signe, Stefi and Irene also showed that they have a part of BatValeria in them ;-)!

ps. and we kindly allowed them to score twice, just to prove that we are the nicest team in town!
