Welcome to the Mad Cows' blog!

The Mad Cows is the EUI's female five-a-side soccer team. We play just for fun and absolute beginners are warmly welcomed. Playing with the Mad Cows is a nice way to do some sports and meet new people to share some beers with. The members of the Mad Cows come from all environments and all nationalities: EUI researchers from all the departments, partners, members of the staff and people from outside the EUI world.

Warrior cows: let's fight to be in the Top-5!

My dear Girls,

see below the Squad list for next Wednesday 4th of December at 20:30h against Libertas Bisenzio.

We have to win this game because they are our more “direct” opponent in the Classifica, and because we want to keep our options to be in the Top-5 teams of the league. After playing last week under -20 degrees, I was thinking that for your sake, anti-frozen safety and health it would be better to have a team of only 9 players. However, because this week we have the return of Torita Hanna and that the weather forecast says Wednesday will be a bit “warmer”, the squad list is the following:

  11. Goshua (without mom/sister)
  12. The Elbow of Flavio (that is still somewhere in Caregi)

Of course we will need all the possible support from our Curva! Keep coming to the trainings in order to learn more defensive, corner and attacking strategies!
