To be a Mad Cow does not
only mean to be ready to kick some balls. It is also about being ready when the
cold is challenging you at the Curva. In the match against Floria 2000 the Mad
Cows played the most wonderful match of the season. The Tifo had to perform in
accordance. With Nú(t)ria leading the selection of wines and Von Darth Vader
providing with her wisdom in beers, the trip started in Coop, the party
kicked-off at Virgin and ended in Sax bar. Some food, lots of drinks and tons
of attitude. On Wednesday we learned that we can play without complex against
one of the hardest teams of the league, we also learned some lessons on how to
do the Tifo of the Mad Cows:
- Bring a ball for Goshua. This is a key point, a MUST. If there is not ball you will run the wing more than the players.
- Make sure that the ball is not too big. He does not like big balls. We checked it.
- Bring alcohol.
- A bit more alcohol. Really, you will need it (it is cold or raining), and you know, is football, alcohol is required per se.
- Maybe some food. You know… because of the alcohol.
- Make sure that the food and drinks is nuts free (or Marilu ends in the hospital) and gluten free (or Nú(t)ria ends in the hospital).
- Make sure that there is enough food to compensate alcohol. Or the whole Curva will end in the hospital. Maybe we should book a room in Careggi…
- Be friendly with the staff and the other team. You can do like Jan and flirt with the goalie of Floria (this might be especially useful against Golden Gaya). Or like Goshua and get some free brand new balls.
- Sing, support and drink during the 50 minutes of the match. And during the warming up, and during the shower time. Well, just drink and support.
- But don’t forget to take a look to Goshua’s meanwhile. He is a master of the scape and pitch invasion.
