Dear Mad Cows,
finally August has arrived, it’s time to leave aside the football shoes, put on a bikini and enjoy holidays and seaside. We ended up the season being very happy and proud of having played until the end of July.
We played with 35°, but we also had matches under the rain, with bolt of lightning, cold an wind, but the bad weather (almost) never impeded us to be there. We played in up to 16 players and in 4 only; we played with people who came to stay, others who went back and forth, others who already left and won't be back: to the latter, we wish all the best for their next stage and we hope that they will find a new team whenever they will end up – and that they will write us soon to organize a friendly match in their new town/country! We went out together for dinner, after dinner, we organized barbecue, we made plenty of cheers at Schifanoia… all in all, a proper party committee! If you’ve lost part of it, here come some pics.
Before wishing you a lovely summer break, we would like to update you about a few surprises for next season (which will start in a month), so you can get ready:
- For the party cows: an official email address to call for parties and suggest bars where we can go for a drink (or more) after the trainings. The email address is: madcows.eui@gmail.com
- For the traveller cows: a blog with reports, photos, gossips etc, that will allow you to follow the mad cows from wherever you will be
- For the fashion cows: a splendid logo for fancy shirts and any type of gadgets to impose trends at the EUI
- For the cows who never get enough: a tournament with other teams from Florence where you can fight with blood and sweat for the glory
- And for all type of cows: new players to share the pitch and spend nice time with.

Mad Cows
Care Mucche Pazze,
finalmente agosto è arrivato, tempo di accantonare le scarpe da calcetto, mettersi un costume e godere del mare e delle vacanze. Finiamo la stagione contentissime di esser state un numero sufficiente per giocare sino alla fine di luglio.
Abbiamo giocato con 35 gradi, ma anche sotto la pioggia, i tuoni e i lampi, col freddo, col vento, ma le intemperie non ci hanno (quasi) mai impedito di giocare. Abbiamo fatto partite con più di 16 giocatrici e altre con solo 4; abbiamo giocato con giocatrici che sono qui e ci rimangono, con giocatrici che vanno e vengono e con giocatrici che ci hanno lasciato per sempre: a loro auguriamo il meglio per le loro nuove avventure e speriamo che trovino una nuova squadra dovunque approdino e che ci scrivano presto per organizzare un'amichevole nella città o nel paese dove sono ora. Abbiamo organizzato cene, dopocene, barbecue, brindisi a Schifanoia, un vero comitato di feste! E se vi siete perse qualcosa, potete vedere qui alcune foto.
Prima di salutarci e augurarvi buone vacanze, vorremmo darvi alcune anticipazioni sulla prossima stagione (che inizierà in meno di un mese), in modo che possiate prepararvi:

- Per le mucche viaggiatrici: un blog con reportage, foto, gossip etc. per poterci seguire quotidianamente da qualunque angolo del mondo
- Per le mucche più fashion: un logo fantastico per stampare delle nuove maglie e ogni tipo di gadget che faranno tendenza all'EUI
- Per le mucche che non ne hanno mai abbastanza: un torneo di calcetto con altre squadre di Firenze dove lottare col sangue e col sudore per la gloria calcistica
- E per tutte le mucche, nuove giocatrici con cui condividere il campo e delle belle serate.
